believed ex property of the San Francisco Police Department circa 1890, with re-finished round 26in. barrel, dove-tailed blade fore-sight, buckhorn rear-sight, the top of the barrel signed bt the manufacturer and with patent dates to 1887, bolt with attached dust cover, blued receiver with Colt's trademark, external colour hardened hammer, walnut butt-stock with crescent heel-plate, the lower tang with serial number erases and replaced with 'S.F.P. 69', walnut pump-handle and full length under-barrel magazine tube
